Ep. 59  – Female Loyalists

Dr. Kacy Tillman joins us for this episode to tell us all about loyalist women.

In the 18th century, most people didn't believe women could think for themselves. So, they could get in trouble for the opinions of their fathers, husbands, brothers, and other men in their lives.

History might remember them as loyalists, but some simply wanted peace. Others were working to help by acting as spies or messengers.
